SuJin Kim is a sound designer, researcher, and pianist. She is currently pursuing an MFA in Sound Design at Purdue University. She holds a Master’s degree in Electro-acoustic Technology from Hanyang University (Republic of Korea) and a Bachelor's degree in Music Theory from Sungshin Women's University (Republic of Korea). SuJin has performed and exhibited her works—ranging from fixed media and Laptop Orchestra to sound installations—at prestigious venues such as ICMC 2018, Fest-m 2019, DICMF 2019, and SICMF 2023. She has also presented research papers in these fields, showcasing her expertise in sound design and signal processing. Her current research focuses on the integration of music with cutting-edge technologies.
